Nevertheless, a large part of the stairlift can still be made and assembled in advance. Customizing the rail system, whether the suspensions fit on the stairs or on the stairwell, and fitting the required electricity often make up the price difference. The type of stairlift depends on the type of staircase on which the stairlift is to be installed. Most staircases fall under the following types: straight stairs, stairs with a single curve and stairs with multiple curves.
